Couldn't agree more. I will never understand why more Americans didn't get behind James Durbin. he epitomizes everything an idol should be with the looks,talent,character, and a sense of humor that beats most popular commedian s today.and he is also as american as Apple Pie with the persona of the boy next door. Either viewers just didn't realize what they were seeing and there was too much wax in there ears to hear properly or they were just ready to settle for the mediocre in their idol. Either way the joke is on them because they will soon realize exactly that they messed up in a real big way when the winner of idol is forgotten for the next cute boy or girl who can only sing half as good as James Durbin can and has a more common voice. This music lover is through with American Idol because James Durbin only making it to number 4 proved how messed up the show is when the one who is the best all around performer doesn't make it any further than that and doesn't end up winning the whole thing.Rock On James Durbin.

Amen to that! Many people would agree!!! While most young musicians have learned to lamely grow into submissive 'idol' characters whose main feature is to show the utmost respect for cash-the-king-of-them-all normally at the expense of their artistic integrity, James Durbin amid the noise that surrounded him on the show quietly reminded audiences at large about some true values in our lives.. such as the value of a strong family bond, the value of true love, the value of good intentions, the value of hard work to make other people happy.. the value of a bleeding heart...And all this he communicated with the best voice we've heard in years!!! Wow!!! Whatever James Durbin is, he is certainly real and true, honest and outspoken, faithful and loyal to the death, supremely talented and blessed by the light of the universe, inspirational, paving the way and trend setting... His album 'Memories of a Beautiful Disaster' is quintessential James Durbin. Buy it on itunes or in stores, you won't be sorry!!! It's simply amazing, VERY underestimated at the moment but picking up momentum!

Thank you for this review .. You are 100% right .. James Durbin should of been the winner of 2010 AI .. I am so impressed with MOABD awesome album. Most new releases usually have one or two hits .. James & wind -up managed in only three weeks to produce IMO all hits songs . I can't wait to buy album # 2 .. I recommend everyone go out & buy James Durbin Memories of a Beautiful Disaster .. you will not be disappointed .. This album ROCKS!!

Call me crazy, but I think the track order is supposed to evoke a stage (at least one of the old days, when they still included singles in them) 4 group songs, 5 unit songs (songs by shuffled members) and closing with 4 more group songs (originally singles in the first stages), and then the encore of 3 songs, including the closing ballad.
